The Jacksonville Business Journal recently named Don Wenner, CEO DLP Real Estate Capital, to their 40 Under 40, an annual recognition of Northeast Florida’s “most brightest and most promising individuals under the age of 40.”
Requirements to be selected as an honoree included having a high level of responsibility, leadership skills, and business success, in addition to contributing to the betterment of the Jacksonville region through community involvement.

Don, an entrepreneur since childhood, started his company DLP Real Estate Capital, in 2007. Since that time, he has closed more than 10,000 real estate transactions totaling more than $1.2 billion. With over $625 million in assets under management, DLP’s portfolio includes more than 9,000 apartments and homes, as well as a portfolio of real estate loans originated to investors.
