Summary DLP Builders is looking for a highly motivated and dynamic Land Acquisitions Manager ready to seal the deal! Are you a highly organized and motivated achiever ready to start a new career within a growing company? The ideal candidate must be a proactive, customer service-oriented, team player who is goal-driven and analytical in planning and strategizing creatively, when striking the deal. You will have the opportunity to work independently with the flexibility to implement new strategies and own your position. Get more leads, close more deals, and make more money! Prior land acquisition experience is a requirement.

What you have already achieved:

  • Manage leads and follow up with prospects
  • Knowledge of how to acquire scattered lots
  • Motivated to generate both leads and contracts
  • Be a team player and get along with the team members
  • Organized, resourceful, detail-oriented, with a friendly focus on customer service
  • Real Estate Acquisition experience is required
  • Real Estate License not required but Real Estate knowledge a plus
  • Bi-lingual is a plus
  • Strong ability to analyze each deal for profitability
  • Proven sales experience
  • Text and email savvy along with demonstrated follow-up skills
  • Proficient in Google Suite
  • Critical thinking to effectively analyze target markets

What you will achieve at DLP:

  • Research, identify and close new vacant scattered site land deals and leads
  • Research, identify and close new or in-fill subdivision land deals and leads
  • Identify potential investment target areas and properties
  • Update market analysis for each geo we are currently in every 6 months
  • Develop a market presentation for each new geo proposed with a follow up every 6 months
  • Establish rapport and build trust with sellers
  • Negotiate, perform due diligence, and secure contracts
  • Use all info, pricing models, and market data to identify and target opportunity rich markets
  • Develop strategies to effectively negotiate and secure contracts
  • Contact and follow up with clients daily
  • Update the land acquisition pipeline daily
  • Coordinate with title agent to close the land acquisition
  • Run COMPS using online marketplaces to determine investment integrity and market value
  • Prepare and present to management a detailed buy box (with management input) for each market
  • Manage leads in our company’s CRM (Follow Up Boss)
  • Prepare and mail written offers to sellers
  • Develop creative solutions for unique investment opportunities*
