Robert has more than 30 years of experience leading brand positioning, corporate communications, marketing automation, and lead generation. He has a passion for integrating new technologies to deliver creative and innovative marketing solutions to help build brands.
Most recently Robert was the Chief Marketing Officer at Patch of Land, a private money lender providing professional real estate developers and entrepreneurs with access to capital for single-family, multifamily, commercial, and rental properties. He was responsible for overseeing the company’s sales and marketing efforts; including loan origination, branding, lead generation, as well as the company’s sales and marketing automation. He led the development and implementation of a proprietary CRM and LOS platform that helped to deliver sales management and operational efficiencies as well as an enhanced customer experience for real estate investors nationwide.
Prior to Patch of Land, he led the marketing efforts for the Blackstone backed start-up, B2R Finance, where he helped to create a technology-enhanced lending platform responsible for originating more than $1B of real estate investor loans that led to the industry’s first-ever multi-borrower single-family rental securitization.
Robert has been married to his wife, Cindy, for over 34 years. Interests include cycling, travel, backpacking, live music, and most bottled beverages. Robert enjoys games of skill but generally relies on luck. His best luck of all is that his two adult sons are self-employed and actually both enjoy spending time with him.
Robert received a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Texas in Austin.
